Falter reviews "Orp 4"

The weekly magazine Falter has reviewed "Orp 4", and we're particularly chuffed because they only list three albums every week, which makes this all the more special.

Our music listening habits are increasingly dominated by algorithms. All the more pleasing are albums like this one, which doesn't fit into any playlist. Multi-instrumentalists Michael O'Rourke (USA, mostly cello) and Horst Prillinger (AT, mostly guitar) describe their duo line-up as an "experimental ambient jazz ensemble". Let's put it like this: "Orp 4" is a trip on the trails of Robert Fripp and Brian Eno as well as very early Kraftwerk at the time when Ralf HĂĽtter still wore his hair long.
